Hi Zacharosa Friends,
Summer is here and it is the perfect time to enjoy our horses. We have finished construction on the new tack room & wash rack down by the bull pen and we are in the process of weed whacking and doing our spring cleaning. We are also redoing the asphalt on the roads, as it becomes available to us. Please bear with us and I am sorry for any inconvenience.
We are planning a 2 hour trail ride to Charmlee Park, on Saturday morning July 3rd followed by a BBQ at the house. Western rental horses are available on a limited basis, please contact me if you are interested. We hope you all can join us for a fun filled day. Please click here to view the invitation.
Be aware that the warm weather has brought the resident rattlesnakes out. Use caution around feed cans and in the tall grass, and be on the lookout for them. Also with the warm weather, we are sending out winter blankets to be cleaned and repaired. I have collected the usual blankets from past years. Anyone who still has a blanket that needs to be sent, please contact me as soon as possible.
The tack rooms need to be kept clean & neat at all times. Doors must be kept closed while you are out riding to prevent rodents and other unsavory critters from entering.
We would like to welcome Jan Costello back to the Zacharosa family. She has brought 4 horses from her ever-growing herd, to stay with us. Ferri, Rose, Luna & Joe are very happy to be here.
Horse camp is starting a week earlier on Monday July 5th. Please contact Angie for further details and information. Angie has also recently purchased a lovely lesson horse named Saki. Anyone interested in lessons should come by and meet Saki and talk to Angie.
Cadence is a lovely 2nd level dressage horse, here at the house, who is available for either full or half lease. Click here for more details.
